Congratulations! Your skillful and interesting painting has been FEATURED on our homepage. Well done!

Beautiful work, love how you've blocked it and worked over to give the impression of breaking boundaries!
Chrisann Ellis replied:
Thank You Stephanie. Yes that was the idea behind this painting...Thank You for the Inspiration!!... :)

Love the freedom in your design. Your work always looks like you are enjoying your time in the studio as you create your very classy watercolors.

It's not as bad as it sounds, Sharon. It's just time-consuming. Instead of just painting your painting, you have to do prep work at different times but just look at what you can do then! :) However, I also just gushed over your herons too so both of you are forcing me to up my game!!
Chrisann Ellis replied:
Lil, So True, it sounds worse then it is. For me I so enjoy it because it helps me get so creative and I enjoy letting the mistakes and drips happen...Both of you are forcing my game up....and hopefully can finish this painting tomorrow :):)

Wow Chrisann, I think lil might like this...lol... but she certainly convinced me to stay away from water colors... blocking, masking, whoa... what talent you have and always such beautiful use of color..may we all three should get together , though count me out as to painting w/c...
Chrisann Ellis replied:
Sharon, Thank you so much!!!...Its sounds worse then it is, I find it a lot of fun! :):) But you surely paint oils with talent!

Oh Miss Playful!!! This reminds me of when I did a couple of completely different watercolors and one had to do with music!! It was just one I had fun with and came out of nowhere! You are so much like me in so many different ways, my friend! I just love the way you've incorporated the string instruments with the flowers and gave a psychedelic 70's feel with the playful flowers. I'm not fooled by how casually gorgeous this is because I know there was lots of blocking and masking going on to get this finished piece and I appreciate all of the work and I know it took a while to do too! You should be so proud of how this turned out because it's intricately lively, fun, serendipitously luscious to the senses and sight. I love it so much, Chrisann!!! :) v/f, absolutely!!!
Chrisann Ellis replied:
Lil, You are so so kind and I am thrilled to read your comment over and over..You surely made my day! and how I wish I painted like you!...Thank you so ..so...so much ;)
